Collegiate Education - Launched – Certain instructions – issued – Reg.

                           This is to inform that the Directorate of Collegiate Education has launched its own Website on 05-09-2005. It can be logged on to:www.cce.ap.gov.in.The important Circulars, Proceedings and other information emanated from the Directorate will be placed in the Website of the Department.The Regional Joint Directors of Collegiate Education and the Principals of all Govt. and Pvt. Aided Degree Colleges in AP are instructed to browse the Website twice every day i.e., at 11.00 AM and at 4.00 P.M.The important information about the colleges is also available in the Website of the Department. Therefore the Principals of the Govt. and Pvt. Aided Degree College are instructed to confirm the information about their college and to write in name cover of Dr.R David Kumar, Reader, Academic Cell, Office of Director of Collegiate Education, AP, Nampally, Hyderabad, in case of any corrections and updating the information.       

                          All the Principals are instructed to take internet connection through Broad band connectivity to their colleges immediately, if it is not taken so far.

                          The NAAC assessed colleges in A.P have to design their own Websites on or before 31st October 2005 and the CD copy should be sent to the Directorate for approval and for linking with the Department Website.

                        Those Govt. colleges which have been extended the INFLIBNET facility for their Libraries should send compliance report every month regarding computerization of Libraries and install internet connection in the Library for use of students.

                       Further, the RJDCE’s and the Principals of all the Govt.& Pvt. Aided Degree colleges in the state are informed to register their e-mail ID’s in yahoo.com of their respective colleges and inform the e-mail ID to the Directorate immediately.

                    Suggestions if any, for improvement of the Department Web site can be sent to Dr.R. David Kumar, (cell No: 9849277329) Reader, Academic Cell, Office of the Director of Collegiate Education.

                     The receipt of the proceedings should be acknowledged and the compliance report on the items mentioned above should be sent as per instructions given.
