Training Programmes for Principals:
Educational Institution is a place where the future of the students is shaped and thereby the
destiny of the nation is carved. The College Principal is the most important functionary in the
hierarchy of the administration of the Department of Collegiate Education.
The Principal is the academic and administrative head of the college. Though basically he is an
academician, the Principal is expected to be aware of administrative procedures. In college
administration, the academic, administrative and financial matters are interlinked with each
other and more often overlap with one another. The job of the Principal is challenging and it
requires wide experience and professional training. The Department, therefore periodically
conducts Training Programmes for Principals.
