Courses

The prime function of the Department is to impart education at Undergraduate and Post Graduate levels. The main components of the courses can be analyzed into three sections, namely, Science, Arts and Commerce. Right now there are two types of courses, conventional and restructured to cater to the needs of the students and their demand. Academic excellence and need based courses have an advantage to meet the requirements of modern technologies so that they can meet the global challenges. To provide more employment opportunities for the students of urban and rural areas, vocational, job oriented courses and certificate courses and courses which have linkages with industries also have been introduced in the colleges in the State.
